Description

These are tasty and easy-to-throw-together bite-sized appetizers for any social gathering. The combination of dried seasonings really give these a unique flavor. Of course, you could always use fresh herbs if you have them. They can be served warm or chilled and are always one of the first things to get gobbled up at a party!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (12 Oz. Can) Flaky Biscuit Dough
  • 6 strips Bacon
  • 1 whole Medium Tomato
  • 3 ounces, weight Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • ½ cups Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Oregano
  • ¾ teaspoons Garlic Salt

Preparation

Spray a mini-muffin tin with cooking oil. Split each flaky biscuit into 3 pieces (the biscuit layers should pull apart naturally into 3 sections). Press the split biscuit layers into the bottom and sides of each mini-muffin cup, creating a “cup” with the dough.

Cook the bacon on the stovetop until crispy. Let cool and crumble into small pieces. Set aside. Seed and finely dice the tomato. Mix the bacon, tomato, and all remaining ingredients together in a medium bowl. Spoon the mixture evenly into the pastries in the mini-muffin tin.

Bake at 350ºF for 10-12 minutes. Let cool for a couple of minutes and remove from the tin. Enjoy!
