Bacon & Caramelized Onion Mushroom Dip

Outstanding warm dip!
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 whole White Onion, Diced
- ½ cups Mushrooms, Diced
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 6 ounces, weight Softened Cream Cheese
- 4 slices Crispy Cooked Bacon, Crumbled
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400ºF.
In a skillet, add butter, diced onions, mushrooms, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Saute over medium high heat until caramelized, about 12 minutes.
In a bowl, add softened cream cheese, crispy bacon crumbles, caramelized onions and mushrooms and mix well to incorporate. Transfer to a greased baking dish and bake 10 minutes.
Great served with pita chips, or crackers.
