A healthy and tasty side dish.
1. Steam broccoli until tender but firm, about 6 to 8 minutes. You want the broccoli to be cooked, but not mushy; you still want some crunch.
2. Heat the butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat; add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add the cooked broccoli, lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste, cooking briefly to combine.
