Description

Fresh, crisp green beans with juicy tomatoes, garlic, and shaved parmesan.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Fresh Green Beans
  • ½ cups Chopped Tomato
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Minced Garlic
  • Salt And Pepper, To Taste
  • ¼ cups Shaved Parmesan

Preparation

Prepare green beans as desired (I steamed mine – in a steamer for 7 or so minutes). In a large bowl toss green beans and tomatoes with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Top with shaved parmesan.

I made these for my daughters birthday party last weekend. They were awesome. My mom and sister in law wanted the recipe too. I almost didn’t put the tomatoes in. I could hear my hubby as soon as he saw them. I put them in and I heard him grumble and he loved them too. Thank you.

Sauteed the garlic first as suggested to reduce the overpowering effect and this dish was absolutely delicious!

Yum! I made these for dinner last Sunday night and everyone absolutely loved them. The parmesan is a great touch.

These were scrumptious! Perfect way to use fresh produce. I think in the future I may saute the garlic first. The fresh garlic was overpowering.
