Description

Fluffy, yummy, and comforting! Who doesn’t love mashed P’s?

Ingredients

  • 6 whole Large Sized Russet Potatoes
  • 3 cloves Garlic, Fresh Peeled Off The Bulb
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter, Any Kind Will Do
  • 3 Tablespoons Fresh Sour Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Salt And Pepper To Your Liking

Preparation

Set to boil a large pot of water.

While your waiting, cut potatoes up into medium sized chunks. I peel my potatoes, but if leaving the skin on fluffs your tuft, by all means..leave it on!

When water is boiling, add salt to the water and then pour in your potato chunks.

Peel and chop very finely the garlic cloves and add them right in the boiling water with the taters. Let everything boil together until potatoes are very soft.

Drain water from pot, get out yer very favorite potato masher and after you’ve added your cream ( I have used milk in a pinch) your butter, sour cream and, salt and pepper, you smash them taters and garlic!

Smoosh them until they are smooth and all ingredients are incorporated nicely. Get out a big ol’ spoon and sneak a taste… they are awesome next to a big ol’ baked lemon pepper chicken breast! Enjoy!
