These cheesy potatoes are kicked up a notch with the flavors of Swiss cheese and garlic. The perfect side dish to any main course.
Combine 4 large baking potatoes (peeled and shredded) with one cup of grated Swiss cheese, 1 egg slightly beaten, 2 cups of half and half and 1 teaspoon salt.
Grease a casserole dish with butter and rub with garlic. Add potato cheese mixture to dish and bake at 350 for 1 hour 15 minutes.
NOTE: You may substitute milk for half and half.
