I came up with this idea to caramelize asparagus on the grill, and guess what? It’s amazing!
In a bowl, coat your asparagus with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Toss until all the spears are well coated. Place your asparagus on a grill pan over a medium hot grill and cook for approximately 6 to 8 minutes, or until tender, turning every so often. Sprinkle sugar on the asparagus about halfway through cooking. Serve immediately.
