Just saute asparagus with some butter, garlic, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, salt and pepper, topped with crunchy roasted pecans and sunflower seeds. Why mess with earthy flavors, right?
1. Add butter to a nonstick skillet on medium low heat temperature.
2. Do not brown or burn the butter. Throw in garlic and red pepper flakes. Stir till fragrant.
3. Add asparagus, increase to medium high heat and saute for 1 minute.
4. Squeeze some lemon juice and a dash of salt and pepper to taste.
5. Sprinkle in some chopped nuts and remove to serve immediately.
