Description

Sausage and Carrots

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Whole Large Carrots, 1 Pound Bag
  • 1 package Sausage (smoked Or Cajun, 1 Pound Package)
  • 1 whole Small Onion Or Half Of A Large Onion
  • ½ teaspoons Butter
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • Pepper To Taste
  • ½ teaspoons Cajun Seasoning
  • ½ cups Chicken Stock

Preparation

Scrub carrots clean, cut off tops, and cut into about 1/2″ rounds then put them to the side for a moment.

Chop onion into very small pieces.

Get out a small to medium pot (it needs to be big enough to hold all of the ingredients), turn heat onto medium, melt butter and add onions and sausage. Cook for about 5 minutes. Then add carrots, seasonings, and 1/2 cup of chicken stock. Put lid on and let it simmer for about 30 to 45 minutes until carrots are tender.
