Roasted Carrots with Bacon are done in just 30 minutes and are a sweet and salty dream side dish.
Preheat oven to 425ºF. Arrange carrots in one layer on a baking sheet, and toss with oil.
Sprinkle carrots with salt, sugar, and pepper. Scatter bacon pieces over carrots.
Roast carrots and bacon for 15 minutes, then remove from oven and shake pan to toss. Roast for 10 minutes more until bacon is cooked and carrots are tender.
Sprinkle carrots with scallions and basil leaves. Serve!
