A simple and very sophisticated side for a main meat.
1. Peel the miniature red onions and set aside.
2. In a sauce pan, mix in the balsamic vinegar, red wine and sugar.
3. Place over a low heat and reduce, stirring occasionally.
4. Once the mixture is reduced but not too thick, place the red onions in.
5. Cook for approximately 4 minutes or until the onions are soft but not mushy.
This goes very well next to a steak or pork. Enjoy!
