Here’s a tasty recipe for cabbage—a new favorite vegetable of mine. It’s very easy to prepare. If you don’t have a pressure cooker, then just cook it in a pot on the stovetop until you reach your desired tenderness. I love using my pressure cooker because I really believe it allows the small amount of bacon bits to really flavor the cabbage.
Put all of the ingredients into the pressure cooker. (I always put the water and seasonings in first). Put the lid on the pressure cooker and set on high heat. When the “jiggler” begins to jiggle, cut off the heat and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow pot to cool off before removing lid.
