I would be lying if I said that these beans in any way resemble the flavor of traditional baked beans. However, they are creamy and tangy and delicious in their own way.
Preheat the oven to 450 F.
Use a food processor to puree the nuts, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice and water until they form a fluid, slightly runny sauce. Pour the sauce into a rectangular baking dish about 8 1/2 inches wide and stir in the beans.
Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the baked beans are golden around the edges. Enjoy!
