The absolutley only way to cook corn on the cob. You will never boil corn again.
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Lay corn on a sheet pan. I found that it works best if I put a wire rack in the sheet pan to get a little space between the corn and the pan. Do not remove the husk or the silks—cook it just like it came off the stalk for 45 minutes.
Just before serving, cut off both ends and remove the husk and silks, Place in a serving bowl and drizzle the melted butter over the corn. Season with salt and pepper.
Note: I saw this on the Food Channel somewhere, but I’ve slept since then and I don’t remember what show it was.
