A no-mayonnaise slaw that is refreshing and unique.
Combine cabbage, onion and sesame seeds in a large bowl. Set aside.
In a small bowl, mix oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and the flavor packet from the ramen soup package. Mix until sugar is dissolved. Pour this dressing over the cabbage mixture. Refrigerate, covered, for 1-2 hours.
Just before serving break up the ramen noodles and add them and the almonds to the cabbage mixture. Toss gently.
