A side dish learned from my mom. Another of my husband’s favorites.
On two large sheets of foil, evenly divide diced potatoes.
Sprinkle onion soup mix powder on top. This can be done to taste. I usually use close to a whole envelope on two servings. Dot butter on top.
Fold foil up into a packet and place on BBQ or in oven until potatoes are fork tender. It can be from a half hour to one hour depending on the size of the dice.

These potatoes were fantastic! We’ll definately be making these again. It was especially nice that I could just throw them in with what I was baking.
