What the heck did you do to the rice? Well why should it be bland? I like my food to have some flavor.
Add all ingredients to a pot, place on stove on high heat. Bring to a boil. (Dip a spoon in the liquid to check for salt – and if it needs more add more bouillon). When it reaches a boil, cover, reduce heat to low heat and simmer until all water is gone about 15 minutes. Then, remove it from the heat and let it sit for 8 minutes. Then fluff with fork and enjoy.
Note: I use Uncle Ben’s Parboiled Rice for this recipe.
