This recipe will festively compliment any Mexican dish you prepare. It is also delicious as a warm dip for corn or tortilla chips.
In a medium saucepan, saute the onions in butter over medium heat for about two minutes. You want the onions to still have a little crisp to them.
Add all other ingredients except the chicken broth and stir well until cream cheese is melted and beans are heated through.
Slowly stir in the chicken broth until you get a creamy texture – not watered down. You may need more or less broth to reach the creamy texture.
Heat thoroughly and enjoy as a side dish or as a warm dip served with your favorite corn or tortilla chips.

Love it! I make one similar to this with the addition of salsa added.
