Some friends made us this for our “Thanksmas” gathering and it was out of this world!
Place well-drained beans in 2 quart banking dish and sprinkle with garlic salt, to taste.
In a separate bowl, mix sour cream and mushroom soup and pour over beans.
Top with sliced Velveeta cheese.
Melt butter and mix with crushed crackers.
Sprinkle over cheese.
Garnish with an outer ring of fried onions.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
*NOTE: This recipe must be doubled for a 9×13 pan.
