This recipe is easy. And who doesn’t love bacon! Even if they are not a Brussels sprouts fan the bacon will get them to eat their veggies. Enjoy!
Cut the bacon into strips (lardons), and pan fry in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Then remove bacon to a paper towel lined plate.
Cut stems from sprouts and discard top leaves and cut each in half. Place them cut side up in the same pan that the bacon was fried in and add the butter. Cook over medium heat until golden brown. Add the garlic, onion powder and lemon juice. Add bacon back into the pan. Add salt and pepper to taste, keeping in mind the bacon is already salty. Enjoy!
