Description

A delicious homemade side to go with your favourite entrees.

Ingredients

  • 4  Large Russet Potatoes, Peeled And Diced
  • 4 teaspoons Sea Salt, Divided
  • 2  Green Onion, Chopped
  • 5 cloves Garlic, Chopped
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter, Unsalted
  • ½ cups Milk (2%)
  • 2 teaspoons Black Pepper

Preparation

In a large pot, add potatoes and enough water to cover potatoes by 2 inches. Add half of the salt, bring water to a boil on high heat and boil for 10 minutes.

Drain water and return pot back to burner on low heat to dry off moisture. Add green onions and garlic, cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add butter and cook another 5 minutes, mixing well. Add milk and mash potatoes with a potato masher right in the pot. Season with remaining salt and black pepper.
