At last, an oven “fried” veggie that’s crisp, delicious and healthy!
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, egg, oil, baking powder, salt, pepper and 1 ounce of the grated cheese.
Dip the broccoli florets into the batter and spread out on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 15 – 20 minutes, flip the florets and continue baking for another 15 – 20 minutes until lightly golden brown.
Top with the remaining grated cheese and serve either as a vegetable side dish or a cocktail snack with your favorite dip.
