A great and delicious alternative to the same ole green bean casserole.
Simmer green beans in a large pot of boiling water for 6 minutes. Transfer to a paper-towel-lined cookie sheet to drain. Mix bread crumbs, pepper and melted butter. Sprinkle 1/3 of the crumb mixture onto the bottom of a casserole dish. Place beans onto the crumb mixture. Pour cream over the beans and sprinkle with blue cheese, Gruyere cheese and remaining bread crumbs. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
