Want to know my favorite way to eat green beans? Like this. With smokey toasted almonds, lemon juice, and fresh cracked pepper. Easy, fast, and a good way to dress up the cans of green beans languishing in your cupboard.
Drain the green beans, set aside.
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat, and sauté the almonds until they start to turn golden brown. Then add the beans, stir to incorporate. Add salt, pepper, and lemon juice to taste. Stir occasionally until heated through.
