Description

A terrific side dish for any BBQ, picnic or family gathering. Pairs well with beef or pork.

Ingredients

  • 48 ounces, weight Canned Baked Beans
  • ¼ cups Molasses
  • 1-¼ Tablespoon Grated Fresh Ginger
  • 2 pinches Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 dashes Allspice
  • 6 slices Bacon, Cooked And Cut Into Pieces

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 F. In a large mixing bowl add baked beans, molasses, grated fresh ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice and stir well to mix. Into an 8″ x 8″ baking dish empty mixing bowl ingredients. Spread it out with an offset spatula, add bacon pieces, cover dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 5 more minutes to crisp up the top. These will smell wonderful! Serve immediately and enjoy!
