A quick, delicious way to cook cabbage.
Saute chopped onion in oil and half the pepper. I like to cook the onions until they are crispy and brown. Push aside, or take out of the oil. Take the package of shredded coleslaw cabbage (it will be in the section of the grocery store with the shredded lettuce), and throw it in the hot oil. Add in the rest of the ingredients and cook for 3 to 10 minutes, until cabbage is the desired softness.
This tastes very similar to an eggroll’s insides. My kids love it.

I have always fried cabbage in oil, and then added soysauce–my son loves it. So this was a nice twist on it and it added more flavor. Very good!

I like a lot of pepper, and I try to use fresh ground black, but you could use any kind, really depending on what you like.
