I love the versatility of a slow cooker, from desserts, to soups to even this easy orzo side dish. It takes no time to prepare and only a few short hours to cook. Put it on in mid-afternoon and it will be ready by dinner. The crockpot makes the orzo so fluffy and delicious.
Dump all the ingredients in the crockpot, cover and cook for 3 1/2 to 4 hours on low.

I must have done something wrong, came out as a sticky glob. Smelled good though.
