The addition of bacon, egg, and lemon is fantastic on these fresh green beans!
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook until just crisp tender, about 4-6 minutes, depending on size of green beans. Drain.
In a skillet, fry the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels. Chop and set aside. Reserve 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in the skillet.
Add the green beans to the skillet with reserved bacon grease. Toss for 1 to 2 minutes, until coated. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Toss green beans with lemon juice.
Arrange green beans on a platter. Top with chopped egg and bacon.
