Description

This dish is so simple and flavorful. Great for cookouts and tailgate parties!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • ⅓ cups Chopped Red Or Green Bell Pepper
  • ½ cups Chopped Onion
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 4 cups Frozen Corn Kernels
  • 1 teaspoon Creole Seasoning Blend (I Use Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning)

Preparation

In a large skillet melt butter over medium high heat. Add bell pepper, onion and garlic and saute until onion starts to become transparent, 4-5 minutes. Stir in corn and seasoning. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer until corn is heated through and tender, about 5 minutes.

What a great twist on plain ole corn! Made this as a supper side, but since I didn’t have bell peppers, I used a little jalapeno…HOT, but overall this corn tasted fantastic in a simple, but dressed up manner. Thanks for sharing.
