Crisp, clean, creamy cucumbers. ‘Nuff said.
In a liquid measuring glass, blend together mayonnaise, evaporated milk, vinegar, sugar, Tabasco, garlic salt, onion salt, and pepper. Taste and add additional salt and/or Tabasco if desired. Set sauce aside.
Peel and thinly slice cucumbers and place in a large bowl. Pour sauce ingredients over cucumbers and mix well, ensuring all cucumbers are covered in sauce.
Cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours prior to serving.
Note: the sauce will become runny as a result of the cucumber’s weeping water. This is how the sauce is supposed to be. Just serve with a slotted spoon and you’re set.

Hi there rivergirl, I have substituted half of the mayo with sour cream and it was still tasty. It just lacks a little in the flavor dept. without the mayo. I have not tired yogurt, but thats a good idea.

I love cucumbers but not mayo. Have you ever tried it with yogurt or sour cream instead of mayo? Just wondering.
