A sweet and slightly tart sauce made with fresh cranberries and apples that’s soaked in apple cider and sweetened with maple syrup.
In a saucepan add all of the ingredients and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Bring to a boil then lower the heat a bit and simmer for about 15 minutes until cranberries pop and sauce has thickened. Serve warm or chilled.
To make it sweeter add more maple syrup or brown sugar to taste.
