Based on a recipe from a local restaurant, these creamy grits have just the right amount of sweetness from the fresh corn. Quick and delicious side dish!
In a pot, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add milk and bring back to a boil. Slowly add grits and then corn; reduce heat to medium low and cook for 5 to 6 minutes. Add butter or margarine and salt and pepper. Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning.

YUM! Can’t wait for our corn to be ready this summer so I can combine two of my favorite foods in the entire world! Maybe I can convince more of my new northern friends to at least give grits a try…I’ve found a few converts by making my mom’s cheese grits!
