Description

Salty spiced chorizo sausages with Brussels sprouts in this hearty flavoursome dish!

Ingredients

  • Vegetable Oil, As Needed
  • ½ whole (approximately 50-60g Or 2-3 Oz. Size) Dry Smoked Chorizo Sausage, Cubed
  • 8 ounces, weight Brussels Sprouts, Halved
  • 1 whole Orange, Juiced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, Sliced Thinly
  • 10 whole Black Pitted Olives, Sliced

Preparation

In a dry pan with 2-3 drops of vegetable oil, brown and render the chorizo over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside, leaving the oil in the pan.

Remove pan from the heat and arrange Brussels sprouts in the pan, cut side down. Place over heat and pour in orange juice. Cover for 1 minute then leave to sizzle uncovered for another minute until sprouts are crisp tender.

Toss in garlic slices and stir around for ½ minute. Scatter in reserved chorizo and black olives. Stir around until evenly mixed up for another minute.

Dish up and serve immediately.
