Description

This was a spur of the moment twist on our normal baked potato with seasonings. My daughter suggested it and at three years old, how could I deny her request for cheesy potatoes?

Ingredients

  • 6  Medium Potatoes
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Onions
  • 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese, your choice
  • 2 Tablespoons Bacon Pieces (Bits Or Real Cooked Bacon)
  • Sliced Green Onions, For Garnish
  • Sour Cream For Garnish

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 425ºF. Meanwhile, chop the potatoes.
2. Put potatoes in a square baking pan and drizzle oil all over them.
3. Add in the dried onions, onion powder and garlic powder. Mix until the oil and spices coat the potatoes.
4. Bake for about 30 minutes.
5. Pull potatoes out and sprinkle on cheese and bacon, then pop them back in the oven until the cheese is melted. Garnish with green onions and sour cream if you want the whole loaded potato taste!
