Easy cheesy potato recipe using frozen hashbrown potatoes! Great with steak, burgers or pork!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, soup and onion. When all mixed up, add the cheese and combine (again, the more cheese the better!). Finally, mix in the hash browns until evenly coated and combined. Spread the potato mixture evenly into a 9 x 13 baking dish (you do not have to butter the dish, but you can if you would like to). Bake for 45 – 50 minutes. Add additional shredded cheddar to the top and bake for 15 more minutes.
I have made this several times and everyone always loves it!

I’ve been making this recipe for years, however I used the southern style hashbrowns instead of shredded and I add crumbled bacon. They are a huge hit!
