An easy way to enhance the creamy, delicious flavor of corn.
In a skillet over medium heat, combine the corn, butter and water. (Use more water if necessary…you’ll need enough to cover the corn) and bring to a boil. Season with salt. Bring the heat to low and continue for 10 minutes. Whisk together the milk and flour and slowly add to the corn. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, until the mixture thickens. Add the cream cheese and stir. Thin out with milk if the corn becomes too thick. Season with white or black pepper.

Confused by this recipe. 1/4 cup water doesn’t even begin to “cover” 24 oz. of corn. Please clarify. I would love to make this.
Is the corn just covered with water? Or is it 1/4 cup? Hmmmm.
