This is so delicious with ham!
Cut the cabbage into 3/4 inch square pieces. Peel and slice the carrots. Chop the onion coarsely. Heat the oil in a heavy pot over med-high heat. Add cabbage, carrots, onion, and sugar. Cook, stirring until well browned and softened. Open your kitchen window; cabbage doesn’t smell as good as it tastes! Remove from heat and stir in soy sauce and vinegar. Serve hot. If you like cabbage you will love this!
