A delicious dish that can easily be used as side during your meal. Adds a little sweetness when combined with meats.
Dice butternut squash and apples into small chunks.
Prepare quinoa according to package directions.
Saute squash and apple over a medium heat along with olive oil and garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Once the apple and squash have softened, add in the brown sugar and walnuts. Stir until the brown sugar has dissolved and walnuts are thoroughly combined. Mix in prepared quinoa.
Serve warm and enjoy!
