Not your typical baked bean recipe, but just try to have one serving!
Preheat oven to 225 degrees. Chop bacon and onion; saute. Drain juice from beans. Combine BBQ sauce, mustard, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke and brown sugar. Add bacon/onion and beans to the sauce in a large oven proof pan. Cook for 5 hours, stirring every hour.
The type of BBQ sauce you use will adjust the taste. I use Honey BBQ sauce. But if you want more kick, choose a different flavor. If you would prefer no kick, replace the hot chili beans with another can of mild.
This makes a lot. It would be perfect for a BBQ with friends or family reunion.
