Description

A favorite from the “Swiss Cheese Capital of the USA,” Monroe, Wisconsin.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Fresh Or Frozen Shredded Hash Browns
  • 1 pound Shredded Swiss Cheese
  • ¼ cups Chopped Onion
  • ¼ cups Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Seasoned Salt
  • ½ pints Cream

Preparation

Layer potatoes with cheese and onions in a 13×9″ greased pan. Dot with butter and sprinkle with seasoned salt. (The dish can be made to this point the day before.)

Right before baking, pour cream over top. Bake at 350ºF for 45 minutes or until slightly browned.
