I love to eat french fries with any sandwich or burger, but I wanted to find a healthier alternative to classic russet potato fries. So I made some sweet potato french fries instead, and they were just as, if not even more, delicious. And these fries are baked, meaning that they will use less oil than traditional french fries. But they are still crispy and crunchy even baked. They taste even better when dipped in ketchup.
Preheat oven to 425ºF. Cut sweet potato fries into fries and place into a large plastic bag.
Add olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder into the bag and shake to coat the potatoes. Spread the potatoes out onto a large baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 30–35 minutes.
