You can use pinto or red beans, or really you could do half and half!
First choose your canned beans, I chose kidney/red beans this time. Put two cans in a pot over medium heat. Add all of the remaining ingredients. Heat over medium until all ingredients are well mixed with. Then turn the heat to low and let it cook for 30 minutes. I was stirring them every 5 minutes or so.
