A stick-to-your-ribs side dish that is perfect for any family get together, potluck or church function. This dish is requested by my family anytime we get together but in particular during the many BBQ’s we have in the summer.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Brown ground meat, onion and garlic is large oven proof pot until meat is no longer pink.(Dutch ovens are perfect for this recipe.)
Add remaining ingredients and stir well. COVER and cook at 350 degrees for an hour and a half.
Serve piping hot or place in a crock pot on LOW to keep warm. This dish is perfect with hamburgers and potato salad, but also good with any grilled meat.
