What can I say? It ain’t an annual thing like turkey. It’s simply one of my many comfort foods!
1. Heat butter or grease in a large pot over medium heat. Add cabbage and sauté until slightly wilted, about 5 minutes.
2. Add sugar, toss to coat evenly. Add vinegar. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover, simmer until cabbage is tender, stirring often,.
Note: It can cook up to an hour and a half—depends on preference of crunch. The more it cooks, the more it will turn brown.
