6 ingredients, and one of them is water. Like … seriously?
Preheat a pan to medium-high heat for 5 minutes. The pan won’t be totally hot yet. Add the oil and green beans and toss gently.
When the green beans start to sizzle, toss for 2 more minutes until they are bright green.
Add the water and reduce the heat to medium. Let the water bubble and reduce by half.
When the water is reduced by half, add the garlic, oyster sauce, and as much Sriracha as you’d like to the pan. Stir to combine and cook until it starts to thicken and forms a sauce.
Let the sauce continue to reduce until thick, then taste. The green beans should still have some crunch left to them. Add more Sriracha or oyster sauce if you’d like a spicier or saltier green bean.
Serve with rice and your favorite quick-cooking protein. Yum!
