A simple, inexpensive way to make lavender ironing water.
Pour water into a bottle. I used spring water because it was on sale.
Add 5 drops essential oil to every 5 ounces of water. Mix. Using a funnel, pour into a glass decanter or plastic spray bottle.
If you are very, very patient, steep the water for two weeks. If you’re like me and can’t wait, just spritz everything from tablecloths to your husband’s undershirts. Anything spritz-able (not a word, but you get the idea) will calm the spirit and freshen the house.

I use vodka in mine and spray it on my bedsheets.
Something new I have started doing is to put some essential oil in the water in my iron and set it on a steam setting.
