Homemade Tahini Paste: a 2-ingredient 5-minute vegan recipe. Add it to noodle dishes, stir-fries, homemade bread, pesto, cookies and brownies to give them a nutty flavor. Gluten-free, healthy and delicious! Homemade tahini paste tastes much better and is cheaper than the one from the store.
Toast the unhulled sesame and black sesame seeds in a large pan over medium heat until golden, stirring occasionally (about 3 minutes).
Grind toasted seeds with an immersion blender or food processor. Gradually add oil, starting with 4 tablespoons and adding more as needed until you like the consistency. Season with salt. Enjoy!
Note: You can transfer it to a jar and store for up to 3 months in the fridge.
