So simple. Enjoy this while on a hike, in the morning with cold milk, or munch on it as an after-dinner treat.
Preheat oven to 325 F.
In a saucepan over medium high heat add orange juice, brown sugar, maple syrup, agave nectar and cinnamon. Let it simmer until sugar is dissolved and mixture is starting to thicken a little then remove it from the heat.
In a large bowl add oats, almonds, pumpkin seeds, pistachios and dried cherries. Pour liquid over it and toss well to coat.
Line a baking sheet with a Silpat mat or parchment paper. Pour oat mixture onto the baking sheet. Smooth it out with a spatula.
Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown and well set.
**This is a great recipe to customize to your liking. You pick the different combinations of nuts and dried fruit. Even throw in some chocolate chips if you’re feeling wild.
