Description

This Hot Fudge Sauce is so fast and easy, and tastes oh-so-good! It makes a perfect holiday gift! I love it most on a brownie topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Butter
  • 1 cup Good Quality Chocolate Chips
  • 1 can (12 Oz. Size) Evaporated Milk
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

Preparation

In a double boiler over medium heat, melt the butter and chocolate chips, whisking constantly until combined. Whisk in the evaporated milk and powdered sugar and bring to a boil, stirring often, for 8 minutes.

Remove from heat and add vanilla. Store in a glass container in the refrigerator. Keeps for several weeks. Makes approximately 3 cups.

Tastes great! My husband hates sauces made with cocoa powder so this is just what I was looking for. I used milk chocolate chips but I think semisweet or dark would be even better.
