This is an unusual recipe for a chunky conserve type plum jam. It is very colorful and tasty and one of our favorites that Mom came up with over 40 years ago.
Boil plums and pectin for 1 minute.
Add remaining ingredients, boil 4 more minutes.
Pour into sterilized jam jars. Wipe rims with a clean, damp cloth.
Place prepared lids in jars and screw on bands tightly. Let cool on towel.
Make about 8 cups.
